I specialize in lifestyle and family photography with a focus on emotional storytelling. Whether we're celebrating a milestone, welcoming a new life, or capturing the fleeting moments of childhood, my approach is simple: honor authenticity and highlighting the deep bonds that tie each family together.
So you have decided to document your family the way it is right now!
I love creating art in the heart of Southern Arizona, where golden light dances across desert landscapes and frames the everyday magic of family life. I create timeless photographs that tell stories of love, laughter, and legacy. My sessions are designed to be relaxed, honest and joy-filled- a space where families can simply be themselves while I quietly document the beauty they share.
My own experience of having children grow way too fast is exactly why I became a photographer, to help you have special portraits that illustrate your beautiful story! A session that’s anxiety-free, fun, and actually about your relationships not perfect poses.
I’m here to take away the stress so you can focus on what really matters- each other.
MY HUSBAND AND I REALLY LOVED THE PHOTOS AND THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE SAVANNAH HAD TO OFFER. TO START, I APPRECIATED HOW SHE HAD ME COMPLETE A QUICK QUESTIONNAIRE TO UNDERSTAND WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR IN THE PHOTOS. SHE CAPTURED A VARIETY OF SHOTS. WE LOVE OUR ALBUM AND PHOTOS. SAVANNAH HAS A GIFT AND DOES A GREAT JOB CAPTURING THIS SPECIAL TIME.

Your kids don't need to behave for the photos! Some of the best memories happen in the messy moments. Candid photos of childhood are precious and one of a kind.
No cheesy smiles, no stiff unnatural poses, just you, your family and the moments that make everyday magic.
Messy hair, super hero capes, bare feet? Perfect! Your kid's childhood memories are made with these ingredients.
You'll have a collection of portraits that FEEL like you. They will always remind you of this special time.
You will not always be looking at my camera during the session. I'm going to encourage you to play, snuggle, and enjoy your family. Expect images with emotion, intention, and authentic moments. But of course we will make time for the classic all smiling for the camera too.
I suggest staying with soft neutral colors and clothing. Clothing with texture like knit always look good. Try to keep the color pallet very boring and soft to keep the focus on your faces. Avoid bold patterns, colors, and logos. I'll send you a guide to help you shop your closet store or even Amazon. But if you want to show more personality with your clothing that often looks great too.
In Southern Arizona we are lucky to have great weather most of the time. My busiest time for family portraits is in the fall. Lots of families like to have update pictures for Christmas Cards. But if you are not particular about timing, Jan-May is a great time as well. often there are wild flowers and great cooler temperatures.
Don't you worry, I will be sending you a email prep guide with all the instructions for how to prepare for your session. This will include tips on what to wear, how to keep kids, teens, and even husbands enjoying the session and a plan for crazy weather.
I have scouted lots of great locations in Sahuarita and surrounding areas with beautiful lighting, and scenery. I will help you find the perfect spot for you family pictures. Whether that be a location with a short walk and a bathroom near by for toddlers, or a short hike for epic views. I've got a great idea for your session.
